How to trim and export a video clip
Trim & Export opens a longer source, marks a segment, and saves just that segment. Your original is never changed.
Step 1 – Choose a source
Click Choose source file… or drag a file in.
Step 2 – Set in and out
Use Space to play, arrows to step frames, L/J/K to shuttle. Click Set in to playhead and Set out to playhead.
Step 3 – Tags and format
Add tags. Video exports a frame-accurate H.264/AAC MP4; audio offers WAV, AAC (.m4a), or Match source.
Step 4 – Export
Click Export clip. The segment is saved into your library, tagged and searchable — original untouched.
