Opening Settings

Click Settings in the sidebar to open your preferences. The subtitle sums it up: “Preferences, license, and support.” Settings is organised into tabs across the top, each grouping related options.

What each tab covers

• General — the everyday options: appearance and language, your current library, how imported files are named, and what Search looks through.
• Performance — settings that affect how smoothly Brolla plays and processes your clips.
• AI — where you connect Brolla’s optional AI features.
• License — view your plan and activate a license to unlock more.
• Security — options for protecting your library, such as a library password.
• Support — get help and send feedback to the Brolla team.
• Updates — check for and install new versions of Brolla.
• About — your version number, links to brolla.app and the changelog, and software licenses.

Saving and resetting

When you change something, click Save to keep it, or Cancel to discard your changes and leave things as they were.

If you’d like to start fresh, Reset to defaults puts your preferences back to how Brolla shipped. This affects things like appearance, performance and import options — your library, your AI keys and any library password are left untouched.
